Ekocamp offers:

15 hours of Spanish language training per week;
Maximum of 10 students per group allowing for full participation by all students;
Well-supervised and qualified teachers;
Interaction with kids that speak Spanish as their first language
Books and all educational material provided during the course at no extra charge;
Diploma for each participant.

Objective

The course is designed to be challenging and amusing at the same time. The course will encourage work in cooperation with other students. Since we have many kids at camp from Central and South America, your children will have the chance to practice after their Spanish courses! The contact with young people from other cultures will bring home the importance of languages in the 21^st century on a daily basis.

Communicative approach :

In order to achieve a certain ability to speak some spanish, various activities are undertaken in spelling, dictation and pronunciation. More importance is given to oral practice.

Each class consists of three teaching periods of fifty minutes each. The first period is structured. The students learn grammar and new vocabulary. The second period is axed towards communication skills. And the third period is more relaxed: the students watch excerpts from films and play games, or learn Spanish phrases outside their classroom, in different environment.

Since a lot of kids at camp speak Spanish as their first language, students can practice their new skills on a daily basis.

In order to ensure a place during your preferred period, the sooner you register your child the better the chance of being accepted. Last year Ekocamp was full for July by the end of April.
